Our DEI Commitment
At Impact Fairfield County, we believe in the connection and collaboration of women of diverse backgrounds to ignite transformational change in our community. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are values on which we were founded in 2015, and values we are always striving to meet. These principles are at the forefront of our leadership’s agenda and will continue to be prioritized in our work at Impact FFC. We believe our voice is stronger, our decisions more informed, and our impact amplified when we are inclusive of all women of diverse backgrounds, each with an equal say in the outcome. Further, we seek to eliminate financial barriers for women to join Impact FFC by offering a Member Scholarship Program (Details of the program can be found here).
As a collective giving organization, Impact FFC aspires to reflect the communities with which we engage by attracting members representing varied zip codes, age brackets, racial and ethnic groups, and experience, all while partnering with organizations that provide services to historically under-resourced community members. United in our shared purpose, vision, and process, we honor our differences and unique perspectives while joining with local leaders and organizations who are working passionately to make a positive difference in our county. We also commit to continuously receive feedback, evaluate our processes, and improve in our efforts to meet our mission.
